Kotryna was an athlete for over 10 years. Her higher education career began when she was recruited as a Division I student-athlete by Washington State University women’s rowing team. Her interest in health and fitness related fields encouraged her to pursue a M.S. degree in movement science at Barry University where she was also a part of a rowing team.
While studying at Barry University, Kotryna was a graduate assistant coach for women’s rowing team. She also had a chance to complete multiple internships at facilities working with professional athletes and general population.
Long exposure to athletics combined with B.A. and M.S. exercise science related degrees helped her to gain a deep insight into details of human performance at different levels. Kotryna believes that in order to be athletic one does not necessarily need to be a professional athlete. She wants to show her clients that personal goals and great physiological results and can be reached having discipline, attention to details, and well developed training program.
